SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft launches successfully

SpaceX has successfully test-launched a new space capsule... that could carry human astronauts into orbit.
The American aerospace company's Crew Dragon capsule... lifted off early Saturday morning from Kennedy Space Center in Florida... atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
It's an important milestone for Elon Musk's private space firm and NASA's long-delayed goal... to resume human spaceflight from U.S. territory later this year.
The U.S. was left with no means to carry out manned space missions... since the Space Shuttle fleet was retired in 2011.
The unmanned, Crew Dragon capsule... is scheduled to dock with the International Space Station on Sunday,... and return to Earth sometime next Friday.
