Adidas's headquarters is located in Herzogenaurach, Germany, and in the latest installation of HYPEBEAST Spaces, we get an inside look at the grounds which were designed by the architectural firm, KINZO. Everything includes an incredible attention to detail and ingenuity, from the inner-courtyard glass walkways to the intersecting paths outside that resemble the interlocking of shoelaces. All interior design features and furniture are custom-made by Planmöbel, with WORK and PLAY stations found scattered amongst the grounds for its 1,700 employees. An open design space suggests a collaborative work environment and all of the adidas departments sit amongst one another, mixing design with sales, etc. KINZO and Planmöbel met with the staff to discuss both their wants and needs of a workspace and designed it around the suggestions, in conjunction with the company culture and ethos. Finally, the sheer size of the grounds is a nod to the monolithic grasp the brand has on the world.
