Space agency gets R4.4 billion

The South African National Space Agency has been awarded R4.4 billion in investor funding to develop a space infrastructure hub. Through the hub Sansa plans to build up to six satellites to supply the country with data. How important is this data collection and while there must be jobs potential, do we have enough skills in the country to meet the development requirements? The agency’s CEO is Val Munsami and he speaks on this.
