This is not a phrase flowing out of trance
We don’t realize the sheer importance
Until we lose something ‘non-precious’
The status tag immediately changes
All of a sudden that thing dry and useless
Becomes valuable and absolutely flawless
Till time measures length and it’s weary way
We fail to produce a fondness or even a say
Once out of sight and out of palpable reach
We regain the worth and start to preach
Had we succumbed to a bit of sensitiveness
No need would've arouse to taste loneliness
Had we thought to walk that extra mile
We had never lost that moment of smile
Had we allowed our mind to go for rest
And heeded our heart to reap the best
Had we taken one more second to care
Never had swelled those waves of tear
Not yet we have lost the precious time dear
Go and embrace every blessing far and near
