We build a scraper, touch the sky
Walk in space, make things fly
We cure disease, hunger too
Prove that one and one is two
And yet in all these things
Forget our own beginning.

We farm the earth, drive our cars
Predict the rain, name the stars
Win a medal, shoot a gun
Write a poem, make a pun
And yet in all these things
Forget our own beginning.

We fight our wars, win our fights
Conquer days, conquer nights
Raise an army, own the land
Give our money, lend a hand
And yet in all these things
Forget we are mere Dustlings.
