Leave me in the fall
And let me have the whole
of winter to mourn

Don’t ever dare leave me
in the spring
To spend the whole of
summer alone and crying

If you ever leave
Leave me in the night
Don’t interrupt a dream
To tell me lies

And lastly, please
Don’t leave a note goodbye
It wouldn’t help me
understand why
