Sony set to develop a 'SmartWig' with GPS functionality

Description
According to reports, the company filed a patent application for the high-tech hairpiece to US Patent and Trademark Office this week.
The wig have embedded sensors and communication devices, allowing them to operate like something akin to a smartphone, complete with vibrations and ringtones. Sony will even incorporate lasers and "misalignment sensors" to detect the direction it's wearer's face is turned as well as GSP functionality which will guide users along a route with vibrations.
The wigs are are designed with the bald and balding in mind, as well as models and cosplay fans.
