Sony CEO Kaz Hirai Stepping Down

Kaz Hirai, President and CEO of Sony since 2012, is stepping down and will be replaced by the company’s Chief financial officer Kenichiro Yoshida, the company announced Thursday night. Yoshida has been appointed Director, Representative Corporate Executive Officer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sony, and will assume his new role effective April 1.
