Sonsona beats Vazquez in rematch

Filipino featherweight Marvin Sonsona gained his revenge against Wilfredo Vazquez Jr., out-pointing the Puerto Rican boxer in a 10-round showdown. In February 20120, Vazquez knocked out Sonsona when they fought for the first time, dropping the Filipino in the fourth round with a body shot. In the rematch, Sonsona sent Vazquez to the canvas in the very first round, but the Puerto Rican beat the 10-count. Sonsona would go on to win a split decision. -- Mornings @ ANC, June 9, 2014.
