Sonja Broderick - Moth

Description
Sends you fluttering
In a swift orgasmic frenzy.
Slowly you approach again,
Cautious of overdose
On the stellar drug.
Careful you creep, until tip!
You’re off again clipping the shade.
Mighty.
Swirling eight-shapes in your flight.
You pose a while
On the intricate seams
Of the lamp’s awning.
Pretending, to dupe the flame,
That you’re just a speck of dust.
You look so handsome
Amidst the midges and that fly.
Damned fly
With its intrusive buzzing.
Aha! While all are unawares
You quickly steal another kiss
From your sun
You are a clever one.
Stand and watch me
Sleeping in the dark, friend.
Stand statuesque
And count my dreams.
Recant them to me
When next we swim
In midnight oil.
