Sometimes the Sidekick is Better Than the Hero!
Description
Even though we are supposed to love the star of a movie, the hero, sometimes their sidekicks are the ones we really root for. It may be because they are the ones who clean up the mess for a hero who acts before thinking, sometimes the sidekick does the work for the hapless hero, and sometimes their loyalty and resilience make us latch onto their story instead of the hero. Whatever the reason is, sometimes the sidekicks are just better than the heroes.
Anna went with Short Round from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Clint picked Simwise Gamgee from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Casey chose Kato from The Green Hornet
What sidekicks do you think are better than the heroes of the story? Why? What makes a good sidekick? What makes a sidekick more appealing than the hero?
