Sometimes by Red Ash and the Love Commandos

This video has won 1st prize in the Memorex Video Challenge Cup 2007 and has been put put forward to represent the United Kingdon in an international contect.
This year it will be held in Czech Republic.

Sometimes by Red Ash and the Love Commandos. Filmed in and around Poole, England. All the figures created in Poser and compiled in after effects. A big thanks to PhilC for some of the girls clothes.

The video for "Sometimes" was shot and edited early in 2007. It features a mix of live video, animation and green screen footage. Originally the idea was to use "real dancers" but there were concerns from the dancers about performing on two roundabouts. Also it can be rather cold in February! The idea progressed in to a story board, then a photo shoot for the locations, followed by a green screen shot. All I needed was the dancers. By chance I read a review of a program called Poser and several weeks later I had virtual actors and performers as well as a finished video.
