something changing - healing?

i have to try to remember your voice
or else
i can't hear it
your laugh eludes me
you smell, your handwriting
even the color of your hair
is dull in my memory
is this what they call healing?
i don't want it
i want to remember you
for everything you were
instead of
not at all
if this is healing, it's a lie
