I want to help you
Make sure you're okay
I don't want anything to happen to you
Because you're my friend
But I can't help you
If you won't tell me what's going on
I can't help you
If you keep all of your battles within
I may care too much
But when you talk about running away
Or killing yourself
Or I see all the scars all over your wrists
And your arms
What am I suppose to do?
If I can't help you
Then I must have failed
Because I couldn't stop you
From doing those things
But then....
Does that make me a bad friend?
I care about you so much
But there's only so much I can do
But I need to understand
It's not all in my hands
I pray that God will help you
Only through him can you see the light
I'll do as much as I can for you
But the rest is in God's hands
And I know He will take care of you
