...And another day goes by
here i am here i lie
i lie awake in bed
thinking about u and what u said
did u mean that? could it be true?
did i really mean nothing to u?

...And another day goes by
here i am here i lie
i lie under this lonely tree
writing my meaningless poetry
writing and writing about something
something to u that meant nothing

...And another day goes by
here i am here i lie
i lie to myself to my friends
saying that my love for u will end
but every day it grows and grows
with every wasted tear the eye throws

...And another day goes by
here i am here i lie
writng and wandering about u and me
baby i still can't beleive that this could be
so now i just wish for u to stay
coz i really dunno what else to say

i dunno what to write or what to do
coz baby i'm not a poet and nor are u!
