Some Air India flights delayed as commanders on go slow

Air India flights were delayed on Friday due to a shortage of commanders, according to two government officials. Half of Air India’s 1,300 pilots are commanders.According to pilots of state-run Air India commanders are on ‘go slow’, protesting a government notification which says that pilots may be asked to fly at less than the minimum notice set by the guidelines.
