Tacloban in central Philppines- this is ground zero after Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most powerful storms in history, tore through the region on Friday.

Local officials say at least 10,000 people have been killed in this city alone... dead bodies lie uncovered in the streets.

Witnesses say the storm surge did most of the damage. Sea water whipped up by 170 mile an hour winds flattened most structures, and caused hundreds of people to drown.

For residents here who survived, the devastation is overwhelming.

Jenny De la Cruz is eight months pregnant. She lost 11 members of her family, including her two year old daughter.

I can't think right now, she said. I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow or the day after or if we can even continue to survive.
