Solar power system

Bakery giant Goldilocks has installed a solar power system at its Cebu production plant after partnering with renewable energy firm First Gen Group in a move aimed at reducing electricity costs and increasing reliance on clean energy. The 516-kilowatt-peak (kWp) solar photovoltaic system at the company’s commissary in Lapu-Lapu City was inaugurated on Thursday, May 14, 2026. The facility can produce 5,000 cakes, 2,000 pieces of sliced bread loaves, and 10,000 tray products per day.
