SOJA live @ Main Stage 2015

SOJA are currently the most prestigious representatives of the American reggae scene. Their latest album, “Amid the Noise and Haste” features guest appearances by Damian Marley, Collie Buddz and Michael Franti and as well as reaching the number one spot of the Billboard reggae charts, they were nominated for the Grammy Awards.

The foundation of the band dates back to 1997, in Arlington (Virginia) whilst the band members were still in high school. Their first self-titled EP, and their first album “Peace in a Time of War” (2002) were immediate successes. Their subsequent career took them to make another five albums.

Their majestic sound finds inspiration in the roots of Jamaican classics, with influences from rock and urban music, continuously developing due to their significant experience in the school of American reggae music.
