Snow Cross Jeep Really

By the grace of Allah, Frontier 4x4 club wonderfully delivered 4th Snow Cross in Shugraan on 7 8 9 March 2014. It was a combine effort of all the members of the club especially Khanrocks and Asad Sethi for making all the arrangements, planning and managing the event perfectly. A very big thanks to Frontier 4x4 club president Mr. Babar Khan for his continues efforts and motivating and supporting all the club members. I personally thank to all the members and guests for their efforts and presence, without you all nothing was possible. We are more like a Frontier 4x4 family now. :slight_smile:

Now coming to the Snow cross... It was 3 days and 2 night event which started on 7th march. Our 1st meeting point was Peshawar Motorway interchange. A Few members started showed up and our club started to roll. (Time check 6:00am). As it was very early in the morning so our club stopped for breakfast at Miya Jee Punjab Restaurant near Hansnabdal. More members with their mean Riggs showed u. After a yummy breakfast Club decided to roll as convey till Manserah.
We crossed Haripur then filled up fuel in Abbattabad. After crossing Manserah we stopped at Naran Bypass, there we gathered everyone and moved towards Balakot. The road towards Balakot is in perfect condition with an amazing view. At Balakot everyone took a stop for Nimaz and refreshment. Till Balakot more members joined in as they were already waiting for us. From there we moved towards KaWAYI which is a small village between Shugraan trek and road towards Naran. From Kawayi one by one all the Riggs started climbing on the Shugraan trek in a hope to have snow after afew Kilometers,
BK in his Barbarossa was leading the convey and Khanrocks in his Amazon was at the end. After 3 kilometers the trek was covered with snow. Bk stopped everyone to put on the Snow chains. It took a while and after putting chains on all the rigss the convey started to crawl in snow.. The view was Amazing, everyone was enjoying the trek, Photographers were doing their Magic :wink:Almost 2 kilometers of the trek was fully covered with snow and few Riggs started to struggle. It took us almost 3 4 hours to reach at PINE PARK HOTEL which was our final destination. :slight_smile: The Hotel management and locals gave us a warmed welcome. The snow and the view was amazing which made our some members wild and snows fight started :P
Later on everyone was took off for the day. On 8th March Saturday (clear weather) Bk designed a time attack track near hotel, all the drivers have to complete 2 laps on the track with their mean machines, although it was very cold but still everyone was enjoying and playing with lots of energy. After all day of fun masti shugal snow off roading the event ended with a warm ceremony :)
