Smokes Rises After Deadly Kabul Blast

At least 24 people were killed and 42 others injured in a suicide blast near the residence of Afghan Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Haji Mohammad Mohaqiq in Kabul on July 24, according to a Ministry of the Interior spokesman cited in reports</a>.
The explosion occurred near the Zawul Institute of Higher Education, and led to a large plume of smoke rising into the air.
