Small drones do not handle wind very well
Description
The video, filmed in Canada yesterday, shows the drone taking off but it doesn't get very far before the wind takes a hold of it and sends the UAV plummeting back down to earth into a river.
The filmer later wrote online: "I purchased a very cheap toy drone at a toy store.
"It handled really well indoors, so I attached a camera to it, and tried to fly it outdoors."
"Turns out it was a little too windy, and once it took off, the wind picked it up, it flew off, motors seemed to shut down, and it crashed into a river," he continued.
"I managed to retrieve the drone, and after drying it with a blow-dryer for 30 minutes, it actually still works perfectly."
