Slow response to Pakistan crisis

At least 1,600 people are thought to have already died in Pakistan's worst flooding in 80 years.

The army has deployed around 300,000 troops to help with relief efforts, but people in affected areas have complained of slow response to their needs.

In some villages people have been left on their own to support themselves.

The UN is launching an urgent appeal for millions of dollars to aid the 13.8 million Pakistanis impacted by the floods.
