Skope are a three piece band from Dublin. The band is made up of David Core (Bass, Vocals), Lee Frayne (Drums, Percussion) and SOF (Guitar, Vocals). They formed in April 2014, since then they have hit the ground running with their fresh sound, making each of their songs unique in their own way with separate genres from Rock, Reggae, Blues and even Funk.
They’ve played their biggest gig so far to a massive crowd of over 80,000 when they supported the Right2Water campaign 2014 at Merrion Square, supporting Damien Dempsey and Glen hansard among others. The band has had some success so far and are being recognised as a prominent and successful act among the audiences of the Dublin live music circuit. They released a single called, 'The Drive’ which caught the attention of FM104's Radio presenter Jamie Jay Car.
The band had no funds but with the help of producer Carl Allen they got the opportunity to record in Windmill Lane studios. They are currently working on their Debut EP which they plan to release late 2015. The band is open for management at the moment. "Its just the sound of SKOPE” The lads.
