Skimboarder 'steals' jetski in smooth hijacking
Description
An amusing video from the Newsflare archive of a skimboarder 'stealing' a jetski from under the control of its rider on the coast of Tybee Island, GA, US.
The footage, captured in 2015, shows pro boarder Austin Keen launching himself at speed from the shore to behind the craft - throwing friend Brad Allison off and taking control in a smooth move.
Initially writing online Keen said it was an "unsuspecting tourist" - before owning up to the prank.
The filmer, the victim's fiancé Blake Linton, said he was "in on it". Prankster Keen added: "The person was in on the stunt and was not harmed.
"He is a good friend of mine and owns the jet ski - it was safely returned to him!"
