That I should have such love in my life and in my heart
And yet i look elsewhere
I am drawn to another, and another, for that which is un-named
Or if it is I dare not write it, as I would unwittingly sign the deed to my illegitimate adultery of mind
There is only so much that can be drawn effortlessly from a lover
And so new avenues must be sought to keep the amorous sympathies alive
Because the heart should avoid all bruising in every situation
With too many bruises comes unfortunate scarring
Both of the body and of the mind
And I would not like to clutch helplessly to a dying love
As the flesh was torn before me, not again

So I will blindfold wandering eyes
And once again you shall be all I see
