The guys from Six Simple Songs must be masters of understatement, by having more than 6 songs lately. But they didn´t wanted to change their name anyway. Maybe it´s faster to write simple songs, and the 4 guys love to go the direct way. No time to fumble, concentration on the main thing. It is circling around good melodies and the right level of energy for the moment. The whole thing is between rock and guitarpop, depended from wich side you take a view. In any case it has a classic statement, eventough here and there you hear the word Emo. The band doesn´t argue about it anyway. Rolemodels you have a lot and sometimes you see the 70´ies and 60´ies shimmering through, just like what happends when you´re playing guitarmusic. It´s all very uncomplicated, Six Simple Songs.
