SIU is investigating more UIF fraud

The Special Investigating Unit says more UIF officials could be implicated in financial irregularities. Eleven people were arrested on charges of fraud involving UIF payments last week. The SIU says more investigations are underway in connection with the Temporary Employer-Employee Relief Scheme. The unit was briefing Parliament’s Standing Committee on Public Accounts after the SIU and Auditor-General made findings on this matter. Courtesy #DStv403
