Sir Paul McCartney turns 70

It's happy birthday Paul McCartney, who is 70 this Monday (June 18).

One of the world's most famous music stars the former Beatle is still going strong.

While others in his age are enjoying their retirement, McCartney continues to wow crowds on stage the world over.

He recently headlined the Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert outside Buckingham Palace in London.

The singer's personal life is also receiving regular attention. He was married to his first wife, Linda, for almost 30 years until her death from cancer in 1998.

He then married former model and anti-mine activist Heather Mills before a high profile divorce in 2008.

His current wife is New Jersey native Nancy Shevell. The couple tied the knot in October last year.

McCartney's next big gig will take him to the Olympics, where he's set to perform at the opening ceremony of the London Games on July 27.
