Description

These hands that raise me
Little did I know these hands would break me
These hands would hold me for comfort
These hands would leave me in despair

These hands would leave me bitter
When they come back they want me sweet
These hands would break me into little pieces
When they come back they want all my parts to be in place

Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
To keep a person driven by passion to persevere to live not die
love not hate

These hands that raise me
Little did I know these hands would break me

Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
Weren’t these hands meant to keep?
To keep me from destruction, despair and pain
And all the critics that come with fame.

Little did I know these hands
would be the bearers of destruction and
the seduction to kill.
