Waves roar,
the ocean screams,
howls its tales
of times that have been.

rhythmic, hypnotic,
each wave engulfs the shore,
powerful, demanding,
waves roar, waves roar.

Waves roar,
mix with the sky,
an indistinguishable
grey swirl.

violent, defyant,
waves beat the bay ever more,
awesome, demanding,
waves roar waves roar.

waves roar,
the heavens open
attack like ocean's
cavalry.

rhythmic, hypnotic,
the water soaks the shore,
awesome, demanding,
waves roar, waves roar.
