Singleton M. Tate - Shirt

I had a shirt that was okay.
Yes, I would wear it everyday.
With colors so bright and breezy.
Some may have called me sleezy.

My favorite apparel, you see.
Was made for more than me.
It's just the thing I wear.
When I don't really care.

I guess it was truly my lot.
It could never be forgot.
It was like a second skin.
It clung to me as friend.

Now, I will work to pay.
To keep it clean always.
On this I can depend.
A shirt just like my kin.
