Singapore's Command House has been used as a military headquarters and a presidential residence and is now a training centre for one of Singapore's growth industries - wealth management. The number of rich people in Asia is growing faster than in the rest of the world and wealth managers in Singapore are trying to provide financial services to them. But as the FT's Jeremy Grant reports, the market is more challenging for the banks than it might initially seem.
