In May 2024, following closely on the heels of our Kuala Lumpur adventure, we headed to the island country and city-state of Singapore.

We checked into the 5-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel, which offers breathtaking views of Marina Bay and the city skyline. With everything within walking distance, we couldn't have picked a better base to explore the vibrant city of Singapore.

Just like in KL, the weather was scorching, reaching up to 35 degrees, and the humidity demanded an extra shower (or two) each day. Although the one day we had booked our Vespa Sidecar tour started with rain in the morning and was followed by overcast skies, it made the experience even more enjoyable.

Sitting in the spacious and comfortable sidecar, a driver introduced us to the best of Singapore. Over the course of 2 hours, we explored charming neighbourhoods and made stops at the city's most iconic landmarks. A truly unforgettable experience!

We also highly recommend a visit to the Flyer, one of the world's largest observation wheels offering unparalleled views of the city. Additionally, exploring Sentosa Island (don't forget to take the cable cars and book the SkyOrb with its glass-bottomed floors) and immersing yourself in the magical Gardens by the Bay are must-dos.
