So I replaced him with

I loved my first real Barbie, katrina
But she broke
Soon enough she was replaced with
Barbie, Maria, Kim, and Sabrina

I loved my first bike, a huffy
But it rusted
And it was replaced with
Two more bikes, a scooter, and roller blades

I loved my first best friend, Tina
But she moved
Eventually, she was replaced with
Tonya, Moesha, Kesha, and Kim

I loved you
But you left
I wish you were as easy to replace
As a pet, a toy, or an old friend
But I will…
