For your lies
Manipulation,
And even for betraying my trust.
I forgive you
For all your “I love you’s”
“I missed yous”
And “I want you to be mines”.
I forgive you
For your selfishness
And never ever
“Putting your woman first.”
I forgive you
Making me fall in love with you
Even though
Your love wasn’t returned.
I forgive you
For leaving me
And my heart still feels the burn.
