I lay down on his breath and
it cushioned me
through a night of restless
possibilities
a shock absorber making
travelled roads seem
possible

and only when the sun
came up did
my body feel
hard ground sending
a battle cry straight through
me to be
realised enshrined created through
my own breath with
the knowledge that every
possible
breath ahead
will hold the same
limitless crying striving
possibility
