Simone Olivieri releases his first same-titled album in June 2011: acoustic guitar and a small army of instruments – piano, harmonium, celesta, mellotron, autoharp, cello, bass, drums and many little wooden and brass tools – with a little help from some friends and an old tape recorder, for 17 tracks sung in English. Simone starts playing the album live both as a solo act and with a four-piece band, providing full sounding and more electric arrangements. After one live season, sharing the stage with Gionata Mirai (Il Teatro degli Orrori), Poppy's Portrait, C+C=Maxigross, Marco Fasolo (Jennifer Gentle), Widowspeak, in September 2012 Simone Olivieri releases the EP LA MONGOLFIERA MAGICA, a little album of 5 tracks sung in Italian. In October 2013 Simone closes the english-songs production with the release of the EP MY LUNGS ARE FULL OF SAND, a collection of 4 tracks from the first album, in the arrangements inspired by the live electric band versions.
APOTHEKE, the first full-lenght LP in italian, has been released on January 30th 2015 , on New Sonic Records label, distributed by Goodfellas.

Simone Olivieri dà alle stampe il suo primo, omonimo album nel Giugno 2011: chitarra acustica e un piccolo esercito di strumenti e cianfrusaglie varie con l'aiuto di qualche amico e di un vecchio registratore a nastro. Una volta pubblicato il primo disco Simone comincia a suonarlo dal vivo prima da solo, poi ampliando la formazione con Paolo Testa a piano e harmonium, Daniele Gennaretti al basso e Cesare Petulicchio alla batteria, con l'occasionale presenza di Paola Mirabella ai cori e al flauto. Nel Settembre 2012 Simone pubblica l'EP La Mongolfiera Magica. Nell'ottobre 2013 viene chiusa la fase inglese con la pubblicazione dell'EP My lungs are full of sand, poi a fine gennaio 2015 esce APOTHEKE, totalmente in italiano.
