Description

Proud to be Black again,
That saying was once dead,
Black and proud James Brown once said.
The joy that I feel can it be for real, a Black President,
Or why is it such a big deal.
Why should colour matter,
We have been here before with Nelson Mandela.
Are black people lives really any better.
Tears in their eyes, cries of joy, keep hope alive,
Jesse Jackson you have arrived.
It’s your vision that has survived.
So president elect Obama, will you sit down with Republican Ron Paul or Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
Or is it easier to talk to Iran.
Goddamn America for her past evils, God Bless America for this day.
My faith in humanity has been restored, the naysayers said you could not win let the healing process begin.
