Simon Felice escapes death twice

American writer, poet and singer-songwriter Simon Felice left folk band The Felice Brothers in 2009. He saw death in the eyes twice: at age 12 he survived a brain aneurysm and in 2010 he underwent emergency open-heart surgery after the discovery of a childhood congenital disorder. "This album is the debut of my new life as myself", the 35-year-old singer says about his self-titled first solo album.
