Silentpoet Grl - Unending Time

echoing thoughts long to disappear
clock ticking, counting passed time
trapped inside these walls, running
lost and afraid, searching for an exit
strung along the halls faded photos
cherished memories cracked, worn,
time is shattering, broken glass falls
destroying everything that was good
blood runs down these empty walls,
revealing my hidden scars and shame
each day now painfully rewinds again
a shadowy past hauntingly reminding
of whats been done is forever engraved
the cruel nightmares always repeating
chaining me down, eyes sewed open,
forced to watch as life gets torn away
trapped in darkness of tortured time
another single grain of sand dropping
wearily falling through the hour glass
achingly counting this unending time.
