Silentpoet Grl - The Raging Storm

looking through the cracked window
watching storm clouds start to roll,
powerfully overtaking the clear sky
light fades and becomes a dark grey.
this darkness, its comfort unsettling,
familiar peace before a deadly storm.
swelling clouds rumble, angrily blowing,
a breeze sends shivers running down.
all warmth is quickly chased away
in darkness brewing, cold has set in.
loud thunder vengefully commanding
with a painful crack, rain starts falling,
trickling, sadly rolling down the glass.
shaking in fear the trees are swaying
wind forcefully demanding, taking will
tiredly bending, trees snap, breaking.
aching heavy rain droplets pouring,
unceasingly hitting the cracked glass.
entranced, watching the raging storm
lightening crashes, as glass shatters
cutting the weak, as darkness creeps
the storm enters, peace is driven away
manifested strength hungrily devours
calm is fading as the storm rages on.
