Silentpoet Grl - Nightmares

nightmares creeping in
i can feel your presence
its completely haunting me
shivers crawling up my spine
heart racing, pounding,
warning me to get away
trapped by my fear of you
strong grip, never loosening
strength always overpowering
im stuck staring back at you
terrified knowing whats next
bracing myself, preparing
trying to block it all out
failure, im damaged
trying to find healing
to fix that im now broken
like shattered glass
arms bleeding, im cut
worthless, i deserved it
now only desperate wishes,
of erasing these cruel nightmares
