Silentpoet Grl - Chains

waking up chained, shivering in the dark
i find myself trapped in a deep abyss
everything covered with an icy frost
stinging the air bites with its coldness
creeping inside my heart leaving it frozen
painfully pulling, i fight to get free, noticing
the chains are edged with sharp razor blades
with every agonizing move they slice deeper
releasing more blood with every cut i take
the white frost becoming a dark crimson red
lurking are the memories, shadows haunting
tormented with fear its vividly reminding me
that pain took me captive, making me a slave
answering the dark shadows as they call
taunting my weakness they yank the chains
sinking the blades even painfully further in
crying out in agonizing pain, collapsing i fall
my heart shatters into icy shards still frozen
every part of my tired aching body is broken
heart no longer beating, i lost my will to get away
trapped here i remain, left here to die this way
