Silent Speaker - ! Like Children

it appears that boredom has stricken this world
that the face of nothing has come to be known
and all the while people are standing still
letting absolutely nothing be shown

Where is our excitement
Where is our desire
Where is our ever loathing want
and where is our fire

We've become such seldom people
so predictable and consistent
I suppose though that boring is safe
but that also causes us to be distant

Distant from fun and adventure
distant from the spontaneity that was put here
Why cant we be careless like children
why cant we just be free instead of always having fear
