Description

Cobweb from a ceiling corer I cleaned off
A thin long legged spider for life hurried and ran off,
I, standing on the sofa raised my hand and shrieked,
'I’ll spare you from here, you creep.'

Hearing this he stopped
And while saying “whattt” he laughed!
Cleaning the room of us that’s what you want to do,
But what about the cobwebs inside you? ?

These words made me mystified,
“can there be any cobwebs inside? ”
I shook my head and humbly asked, “Ddee arr..”
But he had gone. Oh! Disappeared!

Then I sat on couch
With my head down
And broom still in my grip
As if ready to whip!

I looked inside myself
And surprisingly found many a webs
Webs of desires and hatred
Webs of jealousy and avenge

All these interwoven with each other
had formed a cluster
I then struck with an idea to get cleaned
By mixing yawn of love, patience,
faith and contentment a dusting cloth I weaved

I walloped those webs and felt very light
Inside me I could feel every limb was bright
Then I put my precious with care
In a box of flare

Now I feel a burden and it seems, a web is being formed of hopelessness
Accumulating the grit of ruthlessness
I need the same dusting cloth
To get rid of this all

But I locked it in that box
And the key is lost!
