Description
Six Tasmanian devils were introduced to their new home as a new animal sanctuary was launched at Gosford, New South Wales, on Thursday, November 9.
A crowd watched on as each animal was released into the sanctuary, with some racing straight for the undergrowth and others trotting about curiously, getting to know their new environment.
Their arrival coincided with the launch of Aussie Ark,</a> a sanctuary devised by Devil Ark that was crowdfunded in January 2017.
“Aussie Ark is an innovative conservation initiative committed to delivering results for some of Australia’s most imperilled mammals including the Tasmanian devil,” Devil Ark said in a statement. Credit: Devil Ark via Storyful
