Shuttle Discovery Rolls from OPF to VAB
Description
Technicians at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida moved shuttle Discovery from its hangar, Orbiter Processing Facility-2 (OPF-2), to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), on July 13.
Discovery will be stored inside the VAB for about one month while shuttle Atlantis undergoes deservicing in OPF-2 following its final mission, STS-135. Atlantis' landing is targeted for July 21.
