Shur-i-kan -- a long standing key artist in Jimpster's Freerange Records label -- now makes his Lo:Rise debut with his Body Double EP, comprising two beautifully crafted deep house gems. The title track centres around a wandering, Korg-eque bassline, perfectly complimented by shuffling hi-hat and a soothing female vocal, while 'Joy' gets even more emotional with a rising stabs and soaring background strings creating an uplifting yet superbly restrained energy.
