Mookambika is Shakti, Supreme Mother goddess. worshipped in three different forms such as Maha Kali (goddess of power) in the morning, Maha Lakshmi (goddess of wealth) in the noon and Maha Saraswati (goddess of knowledge) in the evening.This ancient temple is estimated to be 1200 years old.Merit gained by visiting this temple equals to 1000 worships in other temples.
